New wage rates apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025. For more information please see our blog available here.

- Superannuation Increase
Superannuation is now paid at 12% From 1 July 2025. This applies even if some or all of the pay period it relates to is before 1 July. This is the final scheduled increase.
- Parental Leave
From 1 July 2025, eligible families who adopt or give birth to children will now receive 24 weeks of government funded parental leave.
The ATO will also pay superannuation on government funded Parental Leave.

- Small Business and Right to Disconnect laws
From 26 August 2025, eligible employees in small businesses will have the right to refuse employer or third-party contact outside of working hours. For more information, refer to our Right to Disconnect Laws blog.
- Unfair dismissal high income threshold
The high-income threshold for employees dismissed on or after 1 July 2025 is $183,100.
