Due to the recent introduction of COVID-19 safety measures across NSW, including mandatory QR code check-in rules for more businesses, you must update your NSW industry COVID Safety Plan now via the link below

https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/covid-safe#covid19safetyplans

If your business is in an area where stay at home rules apply, there may be additional restrictions in place.

It is important to comply with the rules that apply to your business in your area to protect your business, and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

You need to keep a copy of your covid safe plan, as part of your work health and safety policies, and provide it to an authorised person when asked. This will be critical, should your business activities result in being a site for transmission.

Penalties for breaching public health orders range up to $55,000, with a further $27,500 penalty possible for each day an offence continues.

For repeated non-compliance, businesses may be shut down for periods of up to a month.

Please contact BetterHR if require any further assistance in navigating the public health orders.
