Better HR has appointed Sean Wilson as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Sean was previously Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Managing Director with responsibility for general management, marketing, sales, customer care, IT and business administration.

Sean has led product design and development for Better HR’s industry-leading cloud HR solutions since 2013, delivering several major upgrades, as well as innovative new products and services to help employers and key advisors achieve best-practice HR management and full-compliance with Australian employment laws.

Sean has also led Better HR’s national partner program which now includes over 300 partners such as leading Australian companies, industry associations and franchise groups (eg. Telstra, ADP Payroll, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and The Institute of Public Accountants).

Sean is well-known to many subscribers and partners. He presents regularly on behalf of Better HR at events such as Telstra Business Forums, B2B Expos and Global Business Camps.

Sean brings to the role over 20 years’ experience in managing people and technology. Previous roles include CEO for a medical research foundation established by The University of Sydney, National General Manager for an $80m industry association with over 45,000 members and National Accounts Director for Telstra’s advertising and directories business. Sean has also managed IT for large government bodies and has held advisory roles on Boards and Committees such as the Australian Government Business Forum, Western Sydney Region of Councils Technology Reform Committee and the Kolling Foundation at Royal North Shore Hospital.
