- National Minimum Wage Increase to $772.60 per week ($20.33 per hour)
- Rates in most Modern Awards are increasing by 2.5%
- Superannuation guarantee charge increases to 10% – do you need to pass it on to employees (where you have base plus super) or do you pay all inclusive packages (in which case are you absorbing or adjusting and have you actually checked contractual wording?)
- High income threshold becomes $158,500 – do you need to adjust the annual earnings of employees to whom you’ve given a guarantee of annual earnings? This increase is also relevant for unfair dismissals brought by award/agreement free employees)
