As part of its Modern Award Review , the Fair Work Commission has changed when inshore divers employed under the Professional Diving (Industrial) Award are entitled to overtime.

The change applies from the first full pay period starting on or after 9 November 2020.

What are the changes?

Inshore divers now get overtime if they work more than 7 hours and 36 minutes per day. Before this change, they were entitled to overtime if they worked more than 6 hours and 36 minutes per day.
