The FWC has granted 2 weeks’ paid pandemic leave to aged care workers covered by the Aged Care, Nurses and Health Professionals Awards for the next three months.
All permanent employees, including “regular and systematic” casuals, will receive up to two weeks’ paid pandemic leave each time they are required to self isolate due to COVID-19 symptoms or contact with a suspected covid-19 case.
