What leave entitlements are available to an employee who is required to self-isolate due to COVID-19?

Carer’s leave

This leave is available where a household contact tests positive to covid-19 and the employee is required to care for this person (a positive RAT or PCR test may be required);

Personal Leave

This leave is available where the employee tests positive to covid-19 and is required to self-isolate and cannot work from home (a positive RAT or PCR test may be required);

Unpaid Leave

This leave is available where the employee is required to self-isolate but does not test positive to covid-19 (the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment may be available through Services Australia); OR

Unpaid pandemic leave

(available under some Modern awards until 30/6/22)
